Darren Schmidt
Head Coach
An ex army champion(snow) as well as winning his age group numerous times in the past 10 years of artificial racing within the SRSA. He is now Chairman of the SRSA, a qualified Artificial Slope Performance coach as well as a New School Part 1 Coach.

Qualifications: Club Ski Inst, ASSI, Freestyle Coach & Race Coach Level 2
Helen Schmidt
Junior Head Coach
Helen Schmidt - Helen has been skiing & teaching Snowtrax and racing on the Southern Circuit for thirteen years. She has won many trophies for racing – along with being in the A team!! Also became 2007 British Women’s Freestyle Champion in Switzerland in two disciplines. Helen is Secretary for Team Snowtrax.

Qualifications: Club Ski Inst, ASSI, Freestyle Coach & Race Coach Level 1
Roy Cowell
Roy was a founder member of the race club and is an ASSI ski Instructor and a ASBI snowboard instructor. He has been teaching at the slope for about 17 years, including race club and general public.

Qualifications: Club Ski Instr, ASSI, Snowboard Instr Level 1 & Race Coach Level 1
Martin Bartlett
I first skied almost 18 years ago and became immediately hooked!
As my skiing progressed I became interested in becoming a Ski Instructor and now love introducing new skiers to the sport. I became involved in Team Snowtrax first as a parent and then as a participant racer! I now have the privilege of working as a coach in the team, skiing amongst great skiers and friends.

Qualifications: ASSI Level 2
Paul Clifton
I have been skiing for about 20 years, teaching children and adults since 2006 and snowboarding since 2010. I became a member of the Race Coaching Staff earlier this year and have introduced many students into the Race Club over the years. I am also currently involved with junior snowboarders, working towards a freestyle squad to compete nationally.

Oliver Wells
I’ve skied for 10 years and initially learned at Snowtrax. I Joined the Race Club when I was 12 and thoroughly enjoyed racing and building up my skiing ability and knowledge. I have passed my BASI 1 and Junior performance Coaching exams enabling me to become a junior club coach. I really enjoy teaching at the club and pushing everyone’s skiing to the next level in different disciplines, especially with our new freestyle sessions.

Qualifications: BASI 1 and Trainee Performance Coach.
Nicole Shering
I learn't to ski when I was 5 years old at Snowtrax ready for my first snow holiday, I enjoyed it so much I then progressed to Race Club. Over the years I have competed in many regional races, Club Nationals, GBRs, all indoor and outdoor surfaces as well as Alpine. At the end of the 2015 dry slope season my very low seed points have ranked me 3rd overall fastest female in the country.Also I won the titles of U16 GBR Outdoor Champion, European, Irish, Welsh and British Champion.
Alex Marks-King
I have been skiing since I was 3 years old, and joined Team Snowtrax in 2007. I began competing extensively in the Southern Region races in 2009, and have made a podium position overall every year from 2009 to 2014. In October 2014 I attended the Brits Indoor Championships for freestyle, coming 5th for the Under-16 category.
Jessica Tubbs
A dry slope racer for the past 8 years, and have been training at snow trax from the beginning. I compete in numerous different dry slope races across England.
I want to pass on my knowledge of racing and experience to the younger and new racers of the club.

Qualifications: in training got level 1 and a ski instructor and race coach.
