Our club:

  • Acknowledges our duty of care to safeguard and promote the welfare of children & young people
  • Is commited to ensuring safeguarding practice reflects statutory responsibilities, government guidance and complies with best practice
  • Recognises the welfare and interests of children and young people are paramount in all circumstances
  • Complies with Snowsafe - Snowsport England's policy for safeguarding children 

We do all we can to:

  • Ensure children and young people have a positive and enjoyable experience in a safe and child-centred club
  • Follow safe recruitment practice
  • Ensure all children are protected from abuse whilst participating in our activities.

Our Club Welfare Officer can be contacted if you have any concerns about a child or adult’s welfare, or for any advice about good practice in our club.

Their role is to provide support and guidance to all club members and help ensure our club provides a happy and safe environment for all participants.
