Hello, welcome to Snowtrax Ski Racers of Christchurch Dorset.

Team Snowtrax is an independent race club working very closely with Snowtrax Ski Centre. The aim of the club is to promote snow sports to young and not so young people, primarily through Slalom racing which lends itself to the fairly short dry slopes around the Southern region. Along with racing we also promote Free style, which can be anything from small jumps to grind rails or indeed aerials.

Our coaching staff are skiers who have over 70 years skiing experience, having a mixture of Qualifications via Snowsports England and BASI.

The teaching is done in a relaxed atmosphere and aims to maintain our claim of being one of the most successful race clubs in the south. Over the past years we have helped to produce one of the best Extreme skiers in the world. Luke Potts, who can be regularly seen in many ski magazines jumping off cliffs and skiing vertical drops. We have several young and up and coming Free Style skiers. George Schmidt is one of the best free style skiers in the country at the tender age of 14. Similarly, our latest up and coming star, Colette Carpenter, is looking for selection to the 2014 British Skier Cross Team. Colette has recently been sponsored by Vist, Mr Steve Trotter and Snowtrax to train and hopefully make her mark, achieving qualification for the British Olympic team.

We take pride in producing young skiers to become the future of the club through learning to be our very own ski instructors. We currently have 3 young racers providing instruction for either the race team or the centre and are in the process of training a further three young ladies and one young man to follow in their footsteps.

However our prime interest at Team Snowtrax is indeed Ski Racing. Our session times are as follows.

Wednesday 6.30pm to 8.00pm
Saturday 8.30am to 10.00am
