Important Notice - Text of a letter from Snowtrax Ltd

Dear Team Snowtrax Member
As you are aware we have made a significant investment in new matting on the main ski slope. I trust you
have all been enjoying the new surface.

I hope you understand that with such an investment we have had to make some changes to our price
structure, which will take affect from 1st February. We have held the prices for each session, but will require
all Team Snowtrax members to purchase a Lift Pass to access the discounted rate, currently offered to all
Team Snowtrax members.

By purchasing a lift pass this will also give you access to other additional discounts at the centre:
Free unlimited use of the slope for recreational skiing / snowboarding
50% off coached sessions (including Race Training)
25% off lessons
10% off in our ski & snowboard store
Personal VIP invitations to special events

For those of you who do not wish to purchase a lift pass then the Race Training sessions will be priced at the
full rate:
Adult £13.30 (£6.65 for lift pass holders)
U16 £11.30 (£5.65 for lift pass holders)

As a concession for all Team Snowtrax Members we will reduce the rate of a lift pass by £30 per person to
reflect the fees you pay directly to the club.

The current lift pass prices are as follows for Team Snowtrax Members (this includes the £30 discount):
Adult Annual Pass £220
U16 Annual Pass £180
Family Annual Pass (2 Adults + 1 Child) £539 + £69 per additional child

For an U16 the cost of a pass is approx £3.50 / week, combined with the additional perks a lift pass brings
we feel this is very good value, especially when compared with other ski slopes. I would also like to make
you aware that 20% of the fees you pay for each Race Training session go directly back to the club.

I look forward to seeing you all at the centre soon & wish you well on the up & coming race days.

Kind Regards
Nick Warne

Hello Skiers, welcome to Team Snowtrax

Team Snowtrax is an independent club within Snowtrax centre. At Team Snowtrax our prime function is to primarily introduce ski racing to young and older people and promote Snowsports in all of its forms to the club.

Our coaching staff are skiers who have over 70 years skiing experience, having a mixture of Qualifications via Snowsports England and BASI. We are bringing through some of our top racers to the coaching staff, as they are the future of the club.

Some of our racers have gone on to be instructors themselves with George Schmidt and Lewis Moore having just completed their BASI level 2 qualifications, Lewis Cluett having now obtained his BASI 1 and many more qualifications throughout the instructors, along with Freestyle and coaching qualifications. This makes them well qualified to continue the coaching at the club in the years to come. Freddie Otton has just recently come onto the coaching staff and currently is just starting her coaching career.

Freddie OTeam Snowtrax remains one of the most successful clubs in the region despite having one of the shortest slopes. This success is mainly due to the style of coaching within the club and the support of the parents and volunteers on race days. This is all done in a fairly relaxed atmosphere with fun being paramount.

Over the years we have seen a few of our skiers become well known on the ski circuit. Luke Potts who is currently one of the top Extreme skiers in the world learnt to ski at the race club and used to be one of our top racers.

During the race season our prime interest at Snowtrax Ski Racers is indeed Ski Racing. We then do freestyle session in between seasons and then lead onto the foundation stage.

Our session times are as follows:
Wednesday 6.30 to 8.00pm
Saturday 8.30 to 10.00am

If any existing or potential new members have any questions about training or membership, please do not hesitate to contact any of the coaches or committee members at the club during the above session times or read the additional coaching detail available on the website.

Regards
David Carpenter (Chairman, Team Snowtrax)
